Through a wide variety of creative tools, you may be called to sharpen or soften, dream or awaken, sing or shout, paint or polish aspects of yourself that will help propel your next steps forward. This is a creative, expressive path to self-discovery available at any stage of life for as little or as long as needed.

In Golden Acorn Praxis, Mentoring is the art of counselling young people. Mentoring is truly where we believe arête, or human flourishing, begins.
Helping an individual reveal themselves in a safe and nurturing atmosphere provides a solid foundation for inspired growth. Invaluable connections grow during crucial 1:1 work together, fostering impactful psychological, emotional, social and humanitarian development.
Although many of these young clients come to us with concerns centered around school, we address the essentials that affect life beyond academia, as well as subject-focused and learning-driven academic goals.
Our mentoring program starts with a four-session inquiry & assessment, and generally moves to weekly sessions afterwards.

Our Golden Acorn philosophy is that if we nurture and know ourselves, we can positively uplift community and culture. Sometimes this asks that the work start with a unit, such as a family, faculty, cohort, community, team or board.
Group work is tailored to your individual needs within a system, as well as the individual entity that the group becomes. There are many parts to a system, each part functioning to serve the whole organism. Exploring what the parts are made up of, how the system functions, and how they integrate, communicate and facilitate leads to better overall operation.
This guided group work always yields benefits to the greater community in which we serve.
